I thank for.
- I had the opportunity to make a business pitch. I have seen, coach, read about pitches, but this was the first time I pitch an idea I care about. Although it didn't go well the experience taught me a lot and I think the emotional stress is telling me that I do care for the idea.
- It all went smooth with a difficult meeting. I worked several weeks preparing for a meeting about a thorny issue. In the end the meeting went smooth and look forward to an easy solution to the issues.
- We had another issue with a client who we needed his authorization to connect and sell. There were some issues about operation and reliability. Despite the meeting was delayed half hour in the end we got what we wanted.
- A third meeting went by fine. We are working new projects at the school of business and I was worried that having being quite busy with other stuff I was lagging back. We catch-up with the plans and what excites me more is that I will work directly with some amazing young kids from Thiel 20 under 20.
- Last we had a superb dinner with friends and family. Homemade pizza, cold beer and good laughs. It was the perfect end of the week. Too bad I was feeling so tired that we had to call it off early.
Thinks to put extra effort.
- If you make a plan, try it before change it. I had plan, rehearsed (maybe not enough) my pitch and a minute before standing before the audience I decided to introduce a change. It got complicated and screw my timing. Bad idea.
"It's been a hard day's night, and I'd been working like a dog
It's been a hard day's night, I should be sleeping like a log
But when I get home to you I find the things that you do
Will make me feel alright" - The Beatles
