Meeting extraordinary people

Not all days you have the opportunity to meet remarkable people.

Today I have some interesting things to be thankful for.

  1. I was invited to a luncheon with a very interesting guy, Miguel Bastos. Thanks to Eduardo Fernández y Szabi Blazsek for organizing, as well as Astrid, Carlos, Gabriel who attended. We talk about methodological difference between econometric models and praxeology.
  2. Eduardo and Miguel having a break

I'm going out with some old friends from work (previous job). It took a while to organize but its fun to have a beer or two with them.
  3. I learn some more about Public Choice and Buchanan work with Martin Krause.
  4. I started by Business Model Canvas for a Social Entrepreneurial project. Tomorrow I have to pitch the idea in Acton MBA Opportunity Class.
  5. I found about a cool site with Google Books that lets you browse old LIFE magazines. I just tried it with 1960 and it is wonderful.

Things to improve.

  1. I still find myself multitasking. Solving other peoples issues and leaving my stuff on the back burner.
