Talent

Saturday should be an easy day to spot 5 things to be thankful for, yet sometimes weekends are slow and not much seems to happen, yet when you dig down you find that indeed many amazing things happen.

Gratitude for

  1. I took my daughter, Mariafer, to her acting arts class. I had the chance to see a rehearsal on stage of a group song. She needs to work a lot but it is amazing how much she enjoys her moment.
  2. I learned that this coming Wednesday she is acting in the monthly Talent Show. She'll be in two acts, one is a mini-play of Alice in Wonderland (she is Alice) and the other is the same song I saw.
  3. I went for a coffee with Javier my friend from School, always nice to take a walk and a nice chat.
  4. Renato, our site supervisor, sent me a couple of pictures showing the trash racks in place. Another pending we can cross-out.
  5. My son, Jose Andres, told us a story that in his Cinema class they will have to choose one of the proposals for group projects. They will have to pitch their ideas. All his classmates were puzzle on what a pitch is, while he was cool, since pitching is a day stuff in Acton. Love it when Acton makes a difference.

Room for improvement

  1. I loose patience with my son. I was upset because he still needs to put some more effort into his responsibilities. My reaction to his fail made me fail and I completely missed the opportunity to enjoy how was his day.
